Moldavite is not a crystal and it’s not technically a mineral either. It is a rare natural tektite, a silica-based impact glass formed from a meteorite collision around 14.8 million years ago in what is now the Czech Republic. When that meteorite struck the earth, the heat and pressure were so extreme that terrestrial rock was melted instantly and blasted into the atmosphere. As it cooled mid-flight, it solidified into the olive-green glass we now call Moldavite. It was created from one singular cosmic event. It does not grow. It does not regenerate. What exists on this planet today is all there will ever be. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

That alone explains part of the price. Moldavite only comes from one region of the world, the supply is finite, mining regulations are increasingly strict, and global demand has surged. On top of that, the market is flooded with fakes. Genuine, high-grade Moldavite is becoming harder to source every year. We only work with trusted suppliers and provide authentic pieces. These are small raw chips, approximately 1-1.2g and around 1-2cm, but do not let the size fool you. Small does not mean subtle.

Often called the Stone of Transformation, Moldavite has built its reputation for a reason. I was drawn to Moldavite for a long time but I avoided it. I’d heard the stories about it pulling your life apart and thought I’d already had enough crap thrown at me. I assumed it would just bring the good things. I was wrong. Within a couple of days, extra things surfaced. Things I clearly still needed to see. It felt intense. But what followed was alignment I can’t even explain properly. Clarity sharpened. Opportunities shifted. My energy shifted. It didn’t ruin anything, it revealed what wasn’t solid so it could be rebuilt stronger. And that is very different.

Leave it under the full moon or on a Selenite plate overnight and ask for any stagnant energy to be cleared.

Then hold it and refill it with intention.
